1. Supported Jurisdictions

SimpleStay may offer services in countries where legal, regulatory, payment, technical, and operational requirements can be met. Availability in Latin America is subject to payment-provider coverage, local law, tax obligations, consumer rules, sanctions, licensing, data-protection requirements, and risk controls.

2. Privacy

We seek to comply with applicable privacy laws in supported jurisdictions, including Brazil’s LGPD and relevant laws in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and other countries where services are offered. Local mandatory law prevails where it provides greater protection.

3. Payments, KYC, AML, and Sanctions

Stripe and other providers may perform identity, business, bank, tax, KYC, AML, sanctions, and fraud checks. Users may be required to provide documents or information before receiving payouts or using financial features. Services are unavailable where prohibited by sanctions, export controls, financial laws, provider restrictions, or other applicable requirements.

4. Consumer Protection

Nothing in our agreements limits rights that cannot legally be waived. Country-specific withdrawal rights, refund rules, disclosures, complaint mechanisms, or local-language requirements may apply.

5. Taxes and Tourism Regulation

Hosts are responsible for local tourism registrations, licenses, invoicing, income reporting, occupancy taxes, VAT, sales taxes, and similar obligations unless SimpleStay is legally required to collect, report, or remit.

6. Currency

Displayed and settlement currencies depend on provider availability. Banks and payment networks may impose exchange rates or fees.

7. Electronic Contracts

Users consent to electronic records, notices, signatures, and acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Cross-Border Data

Information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions using appropriate safeguards where required.

9. Local Restrictions

We may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features in a country to comply with law, provider requirements, risk, or operational limitations.

10. No Universal Legal Representation

Publishing this Policy does not mean that every Platform feature is legally available in every country. Launch decisions should include country-specific legal, tax, payments, tourism, consumer, and privacy review.
