SimpleStay uses layered measures to support marketplace trust and safety. These may include identity verification, payment screening, listing review, account controls, fraud detection, user reporting, content moderation, transaction monitoring, and cooperation with authorities. Verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee of identity, conduct, safety, ownership, licensing, or property condition. Users should:
- communicate through the Platform;
- avoid off-platform payment;
- review listing details and reviews;
- protect credentials;
- report suspicious conduct;
- contact local emergency services in emergencies; and
- obtain appropriate insurance.
SimpleStay may take immediate protective action where we reasonably believe there is fraud, exploitation, danger, sanctions risk, serious misconduct, or a legal obligation. Emergency reports should go first to local emergency services. Non-emergency reports may be sent to [email protected] with the subject “Support Request.”
